Picking a size for a home project
Base the size on the job, not on how big the house is. One bathroom or a garage is a 10. A roof or a basement is usually a 15. A kitchen and bathroom together, or a whole-house cleanout, is a 20. The 30 is for renovations where every room gets opened up.
Most boxes go on the driveway. Leave room for the truck to back in straight, and tell us if the driveway is new or the approach is tight.

Most home rentals go smoothly. When they don't, it's usually something nobody checked beforehand: an HOA rule about containers in driveways, a street permit, or an old fridge that can't go in the box.
